SAVE-UK was registered in 1994 by the members of the Indian Diaspora settled in the UK as a non political, non religious, voluntary, charitable organization with the sole purpose of working amongst the poor, particularly those who are living below the poverty line, initially in India but ultimately in all the South Asian countries included in the SAARC group, i.e. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
Charity and community organisations in India are trying to meet the increased demand on their services resulting from the Covid 19 pandemic and SAVE has provided donations to the Tagore Foundation, Calcutta Social Project (CSP) and Baikunthpur Tarun Sangha, for nutrition programmes and hygiene materials.
Swadhar IDWC Pune was established in 1995 to work towards empowerment of women and children. Women, world over and particularly in India, have always been denied their rightful position in a family as well as the society.
Based in Solapur, Maharashtra, the B.C.Girls Hostel has been running Dress Making course for last 12 years.
Empowerment and community based rehabilitation of persons with disabilities through capacity building and income generating activities.
